Anybody know any nzb indexing sites or even just groups that would have a lot of written books? I'm not really interested in audio books or technical ones and I can't seem to find anything else.

thanks.

alt.binaries.e-book.flood
alt.binaries.e-book

They're going to be largely skewed towards technical stuff, but that subject also has it's own group. So the two above are your best hope.

damn:(, never seems to be much in either of those.

If you search for ebooks on newzleech you'll see different groups that contains ebooks. Dunno if it is anything interesting though.

JGB, there are lots of books on Usenet, you could try this: alt.binaries.e-book.technical or use search engine if you know the title.
eMule(ed2k network) has more books than BitTorrent network has.

I think IRC is the best solution for finding ebooks. Take a look at a few guides, and use the online search engines. It's never let me down.
