We are doing it again!

The last time we did this we gained a lot of new people that joined us in IRC! So we are doing it again! Come join us in chat and get to know the staff and other members here at TheDVDClub.

So here is what is in it for you!

If we can get 250 unique users in our IRC channel you will get 2X Upload until April 31st!

If we can get 500 unique users in our IRC channel we will make all torrents 'free' so that they do not count against your downloaded totals untill April 31st!

And remember we are now letting you the users pick the MOTW. We are doing this randomly only with users who are in the IRC channel, so make sure you are in it if you want to pick the next MOTW!

I think it is a great little event, and the uploaders are doing their part to offer seeding opportunities. Just log your passkey with the IRC bot and you're 2x enabled!

LoL just on the first page alone:

36 of 50 are either DVD9's, Proper Encodes, or Scene Releases.

The tutorials on the site and #CCE in IRC is setup to help anyone who doesn't understand the way to get a high quality copy.

Make sure you stay in IRC for the 2x upload or you risk getting cut.

The 2X upload is for the users that are willing to spend time with us on IRC, a lot of users are going to irc they turn 2X on and they leave so lets make things clear

1. If you leave the irc channel 2x will get disabled
2. YOU WILL GET BANNED FROM THE SITE IF YOU DO THIS

So stop doing it and try to be a part of the community

That is to the users who had joined, turned it on and part.

and continue to do so. Puts constraints on us (staff) and the system having it loaded with 1000+ turn on a day.

If you do wish to take advantage of it GREAT! If you get disconnected for whatever reason you will be fine. Just join back up when you can. You will loose 2x but can turn it on when you re-join. This is for the users who have obviously been trying to take advantage of the system.
