Hi
I have a 100Mbit server I can post from but it's running Linux. I understand newsmangler is the best client for posting in linux. Anyway I was wondering if anyone can link or make a guide I can use to get started up with NewsMangler and how to configure it? I got no idea about it lol.
Also need to learn how to generate Par2 files on linux if anyone could help with that? :)
Cheers,
TG

If you post with newsmangler don't use the 'yenc-vanilla' yEnc encoding module because it damages files. I've seen three modules used with it:
yenc-fred
yenc-vanilla
python-vanilla
A new binary posting client is JBinUp.

What ones best? :)
Edit:
# Optional: Psyco for a ~30% article encoding speed boost.
# Optional: modified version of Allesandro Duca's yenc library for a 65-70% article encoding speed boost. (yenc-fred)
I guess yenc-fred is better? :)

What about Newspost? It is all command line so you should be able to use it.
