they said theyre cleaning up 1,000 accounts in 50 days

Inactive accounts are pruned nearly everyday,but the site is full again only in a few minutes when there is space.

It seems that the pruning will be done step-by-step (e.g. 50~100 openings at a time, not having a few hundred opening sporatically). So you need to watch this forum continuously.
