its great to see a Retro section in TL . its good they put this section as RevTT is seriously challenging TL as the number 1 content tracker after implementing the requests section . the request section mainly consists of DVDRips so its good that TL has stepped into the competition of coming out with a retro section to fill all the cool movies of the recent past . i was delighted to get movies of the recent past from RevTT where i could not find anywhere and its great to see TL taking the initiative too .

i personally watch lots of movies so this was a godsent section for ppl like me. also seeing that a site called PTN is a xvid tracker as well ( not a part of it , but would like to be a part of such a site which favours my interests as i regurlarly watch dvdrips of good movies ) .

good to see many trackers filling the little older xvids to catchup on some of the missed ones .

It amazes me that Turok is only 17 MB. I remember playing that (sluggishly) on my Windows 95 computer.

That's actually more exciting, I didn't notice that.

But the retro section is nice, though slightly misleading. Not everything in the sections are old enough to be considered retro. :ermm:

really a great improvement. the best thing is, unlike on other trackers these files actually get snatched a lot.

even if you may find some of those "retro" movies on other trackers it'll take you ages to seed them back and you get very low speeds.

on tl everything is fast and will seed back in no time.

combine this with the great content and you might have the best scene tracker.

Very nice selection right there and it looks active too! Very cool.

I don't know much about TL, but this makes it seem pretty cool.

Torrentleech is great for having many peers and a real good selection of torrents...with now retro. All they need to make the tracker complete is https browsing and https announce url.

TL is basically copying TB and other known trackers who already have all that shit before it.

TL has very good pre-times, that's not what I'm talking about, I'm talking about this other not-new stuff.

TL also has a lot of selection, but torrents disappear without any prior warning, and nobody can request anything, except releases that are 5 minutes old and even when you request one the chances of having it filled are next to none.

So there. Rant over and dealt with, the Retro section for XviDs is bollocks coz we all know DVDRips are crap compared to DVDR - the DVDR is the only truly great thing on the scene atm. It works just like the bought DVD's, except you don't have useless extras or audios, instead a great video quality that can be enjoyed (when jobs are properly and not sloppily done) on any HD humungous 40inch or more TV screen.

XviDs on any screen bigger than 10inch are crap quality, except if they come with 3 Discs. But if you're gonna waste time and effort for grabbing 2.1GB why not 4.5GB for something infinitely better?

So no, the Retro XviD section ain't all people are hooting about.

only thing that bothers me there is that i'm unable to search content of their packs. almost half of the movies there are in the packs.

But searching feature doesn't only search the titles, wot's ur prob?
