hdbits.ro is open for sign ups!!!

this thread is about hdbits.org ;)

it`s good for them that they allow more ppl ... more ppl mean more peers and more peers mean better speeds !

Awsome!
But if we talking about quality here I prefer dvd-r less space but not such a big differnt in quality.

But if we talking about quality here I prefer dvd-r less space but not such a big differnt in quality.

the average x264 720p hdrip has the same size as a dvd-r mpeg-2.

size is not an argument.

i don't know what kind of monitor/screen you have, but you gotta be blind not to see the quality difference.

i have two 30'' 2560 x 1600 cinema displays. if you compare a hdrip to a dvdr, they are as different as day and night.

I will not even start with 1080p.

if you prefer dvd5, you prefer an inferior quality with about the same size.

the only advantage of the dvd5 is, that it can be played on all standalone players.

you must not forget that mpeg-2 is a 14 year old video codec. x264 is totally superior.

yayyyyyy

yeah man but the dvdr can be made into an iso (image file) just like retail dvd's, with menus and potential extras (deleted scenes/alternate endings).

hdrips are just like XviDs in terms of practicality. if you want to watch one you have to watch it on your PC, and they can't even be shoved on a DVD5 most of them, but on a dual layer disc, which still costs around €8 here where I live.

so .l. to hdrips.

Have you heard about divx-players? Or about XBMC (XBOX1), Xbox360 or PS3?

Well sorry, we are not all kids living at home and having our parents pay our bills. ;)

And don't tell me you can afford a computer and screen for HD-video, but $|€ 50 for some sort of divx player are a problem, if you are really interested in regularly watching xvids on your television.

The max users amount ups to 25,000 today.
There are free 3000 spots now.

Wonder how busy their server will be during next F.L time.
