View Full Version : My house burned down...

Broken

Hey guys,
I haven't been around in awhile because my house burned to the ground early last month. Me and my family lost everything but for the cloths we had on our backs at the time - the building and everything inside was a total loss. It's a hard thing to lose everything like that. Really wish I had picked up some insurence, but hind-sight is 20/20.

Anyways,
I should be back online when the internet gets hooked up at my new apartment in a week or so. Just thought I'd drop a line here.

My neighbors suffered a fire and until then I couldn't appreciate the total devastation that results.

My heartfelt sympathies.

No, it wasn't the mob... lol.
Offically, the cause is unknow.

I lived in a two family home, the fire started in the apartment below me.
Viva second hand "say so", the guy down stairs was trying too cook while extremely intoxicated and started the fire.

I appricated the sympothy guys. I hope to get the internet back (currently using a friends computer) sometime next week. The cable company still hasn't got out to my apartment. The line to it is damaged and they have to lay a new one down for me.

Lucky for me,
Although my desktop system burned up. My laptop was in the pawnshop at the time of the fire.

Damm so not even your fault, that really sucks, guess you won't be living like that again...

Health is better then gadgets and goodies, those can be replaced but loosing one's health can't...

PEACE

Or maybe the drunk bloke downstairs, starting a fire while cooking, leading to his house catching fire and by association this blokes.

Like he said.

I think the "official" reason is "unknown".

Do you people even read the posts.

One would assume that, given there is an "official reason" then yes, they do.

Officially "unknown" is a bit pish for an insurance claim though

It appears so, hardly anyone appears to read other people's posts before they themselves opine.

Makes for diversity though.
