Hey all my bro told me yesterday that he's got this nasty trojan on his laptop and he cant get rid of. Ive told him to run NOD 32, AVG anti virus and anti spyware thingy, Ad-ware, Spybot and spy doctor. They have all been updated but not one of them can get rid of it. Is there anything else that you can think that could get rid of it?
This is what it says when he clicks on an app.
If there anything else you need to know, let me know and i'll get the info off him.

out of all the programs u've ran do any of them tell u where the trojan is located? if so, try to boot into safe mode and delete it's origin.

if i can remember , this is actually a nasty Malware and NOT a trojan which is indirectly giving publicity to the so-called-recommended antispyware software . i'd recommend u PestPatrol , Trojan Remover & Trend Micro Pc-Cillin Internet Security 2008 for this . those 3 generally do the job

edit :- Here's the Solution in these 2 topics .

Check start-up programs, initialising dll files and IE BHOs & ActiveX controls using HijackThis, Spybot Search & Destroy, or even MSConfig and Google every entry. As a pointer, any executable or dll that gets no hits at all on Google will be nasty.

Whatever you do don't click it, that's spyware crap not a trojan...

Also you'll want to use SuperAntiSpyware: http://www.superantispyware.com/
