Hey. Have you had a look at this one? It goes through everything step by step.

Well, I found a guide for installing Torrentflux over here (http://wiki.themixingbowl.org/TorrentFlux).
No disrespect to your opinion, but why not use rTorrent? It's much easier to setup, uses less resources and faster ;) And if your picky about the terminal thing, just install a WebUI for it, wTorrent is a sweet looking one.

if he's having trouble following simple guides there isn't a snowballs chance in hell he could get wTorrent setup.
rtorrent is definitely the way to go and just learn to enjoy the text based interface... run it in a detached screen and you don't even have to worry about being logged in. if you want help with rtorrent you can PM me

I agree with Raban, learn the rTorrent basics and you're fine.

Oh, Hai :P
Well, theres always rtGUI (http://code.google.com/p/rtgui/), rTWI (http://projects.cyla.homeip.net/rtwi/) and nTorrent (http://code.google.com/p/ntorrent/) ;)
But as already said, just learn rTorrent, it's really easy ;)

rTorrent is great, but I need to find a way to make new torrents...
Couldn't get createtorrent running because I'm a n00b too. Any help?

Install bittorrent with:
sudo apt-get install bitorrent
And then use btmakemetafile
Forgot the exact parameters for a right creation but just use either "man btmakemetafile" or just type "btmakemetafile" and it will show you a couple of options ;)
I really forgot if it was bittorrent or bittornado, but pretty sure it was bittorrent so try the other one if the first one dosen't work ;)
