It will be a slow steady stream of new users, but at least if gives you a chance to get in.

Well, i don't know exactly how much people look for BCG, for from what i can read are a LOT.

So i think that maybe BCG should have a user limit (i'm sure that i'm not saying anything new), BUT they only open the invites one time per week, or per month?

I'm not saying that this hasn't been already thinking by BCG, but at least i think would be better. :(

Like i said, a steady stream of new users so we can keep on top of it.

I wont go into to much detail on how it will work though, but we should be taking in 96 members a day (as long as 96 or more members get pruned that is)

but this is just a test, the db deletes some signups and we are trying to find out why it does it. but if you get in, your in, we wont be disabling any of yous (unless you deserve to be disabled lol)

we prune accounts every 15 minutes.

now that may be 0 1 or 20 accounts that get pruned.

but if you get the sign in screen, and you dont make it in time, wait another 15 minutes, and then refresh, its pointless refreshing every milisecond as you just wont get in for at least another 15 minutes anyway.

I've missed it three times while filling out the form. Here I am hitting F5 repeatedly at 3am in the morn. BCG must be the hardest site to get in while open, invites sounds easier and less retarded IMO.

well sorry but we have already had the opend for 500-5000 people and get loads of dupe accounts.

this way it may be hard to get in, but once your in, your not very likely to try to get a 2nd account.

remember as well since Dec 2006 we have had.

320,000 members through the doors, and we did have 100,000 members last year.

Now the vast majority of those would have been banned, and its a nightmare for staff to keep on top of that many members coming through the doors.

so this way, its better for the site, better for the staff, and better for the honest members that do get through.

On the AssCreed it downloaded a little (maybe the server logs), but no problem, it works fine, but why this happens with the Vegas 2 torrent?

i don't know how fast to be to succeed, it's pointless to try every 15 minutes without any results, if it was 1 acct pruned/minute we would have better chances on signup, but this way and with the captcha system is more like an impossible mission, anyway...

redownload the torrent and try again, for some reason our db is playing funny buggers lol it sometimes lets you have the 1st download for free, or it just doesnt let you dl at all, but redownloading the torrent fixes it.

and thats a problem we have got atm, its deleting all pending users a couple of minutes after they sign up, if your fast with the confirmation email your fine, if not then your account gets deleted.
