How to add a subtitle to DVD

Hi guys :)
I need some assistance :) I want to add a subtitle to a DVD that has already 7 subtitles and what I'm expecting as a result is:

1.To appear in the subtitle menu (ex: ROMANIAN)
2.Nothing else to be affected in any way !!!! (root menu, title menu, scene selection etc.)

Also I'd like to know how to modify a subtitle from a DVD (after demux a can't open the sub file to edit some lines) and the put it back. (ex: I have a film and it has romanian subtitle but there are a few lines that are not translated and I'd like to do the translation).

Please can someone with experience can help me out (DVDR uploader) :)

I usually use the first but its outdated.
The second one haven't tried yet, though its newer and looks simpler.
