Azureus 3.0.5.2 has been released and is now allowed.

Please upgrade if you are using version 3.0.5.0 as that version will be banned in the next few days.

I guess it is mostly done to stop users from using cheating tools which basically simulate these old clients.

Why post this here? So everybody can speculate and make judgments of a statement that doesnt affect them. It seems to me every member got a PM.

They did not ban 2.5.0.4 and this is the only client that has been around for ages that doesnt need to be updated. hdbits have made a crucial mistake by banning 2.5.0.4 most people using that client are not going to switch for them. I can think of 2 other that have made the same mistake but quickly justified it after seeing the backlash. Untill the top sites make a move it's not recommended to ban perfectly good client.
