Wrong. There's no invites at the place other than on IRC, no matter how good user you are. But if person you want to invite will fill up the application and go to the IRC he'll be amazed how easy it's to get one, if you wrote all the write answers sure..

Somebody ask me, so I write about DS invite system.
For a long time there was a bonus system to earn invites, if you seed 500 hours with at least with 10 kb/s, you can buy an invite (it's another thing that there wasn't invitation for a year :P).
Then on the 1st of May some old members get a few invites and the invitation opened, but 2 weeks ago it's stopped, and now only staff and vip members can invite.
The bonus system isn't working too, and as the staff sad it will change completely.

Yes, simply refer your friend to the IRC Chat.
I've found my way in that way and it was not hard.

Plus it is a good way of "screening" for people -
it's a great system.

getting in to thevault is not very difficult... just answer the questions , wholeheartedly of course, and post them on the IRC.
that is the best way to get in... and earn some respect from the staffers as well...
