nice post and a wickid site. its gave me loads of ideas and insperation.

can you turn cold cathode lights off if u dont want them on? i leave my pc on overnight n i dont want it waking me up

I agree - I'm impressed on how he's been able to modify the stuff he works on. The number of ideas he thinks of and pulls off successfully is inspiring me a lot - I'd love to try that transparent CD tray idea on a CoolerMaster case (though people think I'd be stupid in cutting through a £200 case :D)

I only wish I still had a CRT monitor to try out that monitor modification - Only got a TFT (Wonder if I can get him to try it out ;))

Though that thing with the furby and his wife gave me the best laugh I've had this month so far :w00t:

I burst out laughing when I saw the exhaust pipes on his V7 :lol:

I particularly liked the see through CD Rom drives. I'd have to have a see through case to see the benefit though.

And I don't have the skill or the patience.

Yeah, that actually seems interesting, the whole see through CD rom.

I emailed the guy from Blingmethod(Miles) with a couple of questions regarding technique, and he gave me a link to a peek at what he's working on for Version 8 (http://blingmethod.designmethod.com/tony).

He built this case from scratch... :o

no offence to miles cuz the guy truly is a genius but i dont like v8, compared to his previos work i think v8 is somthing i woulda built :(

It probably has an XBox OS loaded onto it, knowing him pehaps.
