had to start a new topic cuz the last doesnt show nething, guess there is a problem with the board


i wanna clear my bios password( i forgot it) on my presario laptop(i dont wanna clear the Cmos cuz things are really messy inside the laptop and i wanna do nething tht fucks up my laptop).

Then you'll have to wait till the CMOS battery actually dies.

that might take a while so you could either remove the battery for 30 mins which should do it. there are also jumpers on some motherboards which have the same effect.

there are also crackers about that will do this for you. just a quicke google search should find a few ;)

i didnt wanna clear the Cmos cuz i dunno nething abt hardware, i payed a guy and he cleared Cmos 4 me. thks neways

if he paid at all he got ripped off. Come on, the Bios is probably jumperless anyway, if you cleared the CMOS I doubt you would have any setting back up to do.

you are rite but i had no choice but to pay that bastard, even the price that balamm gave me is &#036;10 cheaper than the other computer workshop was asking.
