Had sever clinical dehydration due to morning sickness. It's no fun sleeping with a needle in your hand :'(

Well. At least there's only 203 days to go. (!!!)

The morning sickness won't last all the way through, though, I hope?

And the baby's all right, right?

morning sickness usually disappears after 2nd trimester I think.

Skweeky

It usually disappears around the 3 month mark, although some people have it up to 4 months and in some rare cases it can last all the way through the pregancy. Baby is fine. The fact that I am ill just means that the baby is taking everything I've got, which is a good thing.

I was supposed to have a scan to check if I'm not having twins, as this often goes with severe morning sickness but the scan doctor was on holiday

It's like you're an expert on girly stuff or something else. Both of you.

I'm glad you and the baba are ok.
Have they told how to prevent this happening in future.

Lots of water would be my guess.

Yeah but the problem wasn't that I wasn't drinking enough, it was just that my body was rejecting everything. I was vomiting constantly.
I got some anti-sickness tablets now and they work a treat.

Glad you're ok bird! I hoped you took rank pictures of the sick and drips and stuff to show your child when it's old enough to understand what it put you through? Do you know what you are having yet so I can stop calling it it!!!

Vomitina is not a particularly nice name for a girl though.

Glad you are feeling a bit better Skweeks. My ex had a vomiting good time with the first one too and it was a bit hit and miss before they found something that settled her down. Latter stages were a lot better.

CrabGirl

Mulder showed her pictures of his cawk and she got pregnant in the eyes and it travelled down to her stomach. This was like so last year, so get with the PROGram

I suggested this to my husband as I thought it would do some nice emotional scarring in later life. He was against it

Don't know what it'll be yet and probably won't know for another two months

Some women have it rougher than others skweeks, sorry to say  my wife had morning sickness right the way through with both of ours and was in hospital for dehydration too. Sorry your going through this but the little life that utterly needs you at the other end of this saga is a truly amazing thing
so cheer up ;)
