Can someone please tell me how to open the Roxio 6 file I dl from here? I used ISO buster to extract the files...but when I try to install it, it gets to a certain point, then says "error 1335 data.cab file is missing or might be corrupt" I checked it with anti-virus software..no virus found...help! :( Thanks guys

P.S Please don't tell me to use Nero 6 instead..I tried it, but I didn't like it.

Sounds like a bad download; was it a verified one?. You could try to download the same file again to see if you recieve the same error or search for a different ezcd file and try it.

Hope this helps,
Steve

try to burn the iso to a cd-rw (so you don't waste a blank media if it fails) and try to install it.
btw, to burn the iso, use nero 5.5.10.42 :lol: , it's THE BEST recording software out there, better than ECDC and better tweaked than NERO 6.

good luck!

downloading disc images and archive files over FastTrack, for me, is a no-no.
How many corrupt downloads will it take for you?
I use eMule exclusively for such things, it may take a little longer, but with its unbeatable ICH (Intelligent Corruption Handling)
and ShareReactor.com, you can always get 100% working, perfect files...
instead of wasting your time downloading 600-800MB two or three times with Kazaa.

edit: The best burning software is called Alcohol 120%.

Here's the hash for the latest version, downloaded, of course, via eMule/ShareReactor:

File:Alcohol.120.Percent.v1.4.6.711-LUCiD.ShareReactor.rar
Length:3717110 Bytes,3630KB
UUHash:=PLJxU6H7fJg+iYYV8ynBGO4Z14M=
