Best compression program? WinRAR seems to not want to unzip these files.

Try ZipGenius is freeware or IzArc.

Yep, Winzip does appear to be doing it. They're 100+MB zip files...

For ZIPs, I'd recommend WinRAR or ZipMagic.

I've tried both and they're both reliable :)
