tmds r 4 people who 1st started to dl movies with kazaa, i mean regular kazaa. then they discover the wonders of klite, and use that, they they discover the wonders of bittorrent and emule and hashes and all that other stuff. but u still need the tmds to provide noobs with something to start with

thats why the quality sucks, everything is ripped and re-ripped and tmd is at the bottom of the pile with quality but they are the easiest to find. my suggestion is you just download svcd or centrocopy and avoid eso and screeners. although not all screeners are bad. better yet, go with a bin and cue. those usually are the best quality but they'll take awhile and you'll need to burn them to a cd
