Don't worry about that i can bet that the most users here didn't know about that, well i didn't.

So it's like a beta version? They are in tests? Anyaway semms really helpfull in my point of view.

Sweet, moar virii plz!

On a serious note, that'd be way cool if Google was pro-torrents and was introducing such measures, because they have so much leverage in the debate over the future of the internet.

how is this different from
filetype:torrent stuffiwannasearch ?

Daniel

It works the same way, J-dye, and this is certainly no google beta torrent search like it has been called before. In fact, this is merely a customized google search and someone called W4rp3d made the effort of limiting the search to 50 domains. Anyone can create these custom "search engines" as soon as he has an account with google.

i was working with the sourcecode for createtorrent doing a bit of modding on it and i came across the privatei1e dictionary entry... its basically the way a torrent is flagged as belonging to a private tracker...

but it returns some interesting results from google check it out::

Actually, I'm not sure if that would be a completely good idea since many people have already had privacy issues with Google. They'd definitely be recording all your activity using it - and they'd probably keep all the stats for 10 years+.

Ah this was created through Google Co-op... A powerful platform, allowing members/users create customized search engines off Goggle platform. Cool find... many Universities use this platform to create their search engines (I know mine did).

Thanks mate ~
