View Full Version : Gotten my OVH Kimisufi 08

Hey guys, i have gotten my OVH Kimisufi 08 with Windows 2003 Server Standard Edition operating system alone 32bits, is there any tutorial on how to setup uTorrent +WebUI ? I can only find a tut for Linux, Fedora.

just follow the webui section in that tutorial and you should be fine. utorrent runs in linux under wine anyways.

Just install utorrent and then follow the tut.

Im not sure when my friend ordered it because i cant order im from Singapore and my friend is in UK.

You can use RDC from somewhere in "All Programs> Accessories>Communications" in Windows, it comes with XP if I'm right.
If your using Linux try krdc, but thats the only one I know.

oh im using vista 32 on my laptop. any idea how to connect? maybe using a Remote desktop software?

According to Microsoft, it's not availible in Home editions of Vista so if you have home your probably don't have the Microsoft RDC software...

Found a list of Remote Desktop Software here (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Comparison_of_remote_desktop_software), but theres only a few that use the Remote Desktop Protocol, so maybe someone else can recommend you a client if you don't have one...

ugh.. do you think its the same situation for OVH france ?? i ordered my standard kimsufi the 2nd of may and i'm waiting..

does the french site have a forum i have a lot of trouble navigating it. .. . =/

Hey rulebreaker. Are you using Vista premium or home? If your using premium go to the run command and type "mstsc" without the quotes, put in your ip address and it should connect to the desktop of your server. Then just set up an ftp server (filezilla or whatever) and install utorrent as you would on any other machine. Instructions for setting up the webui are on the utorrent website:

Then get FTP client for your home computer so you can download the files off the seedbox. Check out these threads as well:
