V0 Week at Waffles

We had a lot of fun last time with FLAC week, so we've decided to host another one. Only this time it's V0 Week! We've changed the prizes and rules up a bit, so we're announcing it tonight before the start, so that any questions have a chance to be answered ahead of time.

Start Date: Wednesday, May 14th at 3pm EDT (this is US Eastern time, so adjust to your timezone accordingly)
End Date: Wednesday, May 21st at 3pm EDT

Rules:

- Only torrents uploaded in LAME V0 will count.
- You must make an effort to ensure you are not uploading dupes.
- You must seed your upload, in full, to at least one other person.
- Like FLAC week, we will be keeping a running tally for users to view to keep track of our top contributors.

Prizes

The top 1st, 2nd and 3rd contributors will each receive one 500 gb External Hard Drive (further details forthcoming)

In addition to these prizes, the entire site gets rewarded for their efforts with one hour of half-leech per every 100 V0 torrents uploaded and seeded to 1.0

when the half-free leech happens everything still only registers at half download. i dont see why you dont download v0 though, the sound quality is so minimal that on human ears the difference is gonna be most probably a placebo effect.

Dude, please don't start on music quality comparision. I can tell teh difference from 128, 192/vbr and 320. It's true, that to differ 320 and FLAC is not that easy, but still FLAC=lossless technology, and if in future they invent some device to help you hear it, I don't want to be upset. Thats why I have 0,5 Tb of FLAC in my collection + something like that in other formats.
Also, depends on your music setup, mp3s sounds pretty shitty on real good ones and since music is one of teh most important things in my life I'll be looking to get the primo setup in future, even if I have decent one right now.

It's a good news that half-freeleech will be on all torrents, may be it's time to upload another 100 of 'em :)
