Sorry, I had to remove that link because it's against board rules:

8. Posting topics that contain direct download links to copyrighted software, private ftp sites, serial numbers, warez sites and hacking sites is prohibited. Posts directly or indirectly related to any of this information will be edited. Hacking discussions are strictly prohibited within the forum. Sig2dat quicklinks and hashes are NOT considered to be DDL, therefore allowed.

We can't prevent you from PM'ing to people, though. ;)

I cant get it to work. All sound and no picture. Is this a sham or am I missing a codec?

Captain Nemo
08-12-2003, 07:39 PM
Go to the codec folder on that page and make sure you have the correct codecs.

*Edit* Glad I got the link before the removal :D

niknuyadamnbidness Karma for you man!

Why does this board care if you post links to warez or equivlent? It seems pretty hypocritcal to me.

Bender
08-12-2003, 07:49 PM
Links to warez are forbidden too. :D
(Sig2dats are not concerned as links)

You have to understand that Paul and VB could get in big trouble if illegal stuff happened here; we're already on the edge of legality. ;)

Well you wont be the ones getting in trouble. It's the ones hosting that site that will be in deep shit.

And has someone had any success with the site? According to it I need Windows Media Player 9 and I vcant use that on my comp.

that site is pretty good. To stop it from buffering every five seconds just go to options in media player, the performance tab and then change network buffering from default to 120 or something, the higher it is the longer you'll have to wait for it to start but the less likely it will stop and re-buffer.

The board would definately get in trouble if Paul allowed linking to coptrighted stuff. ;)

@ headonawheel: Damn, keeps on buffering; I changed my settings from 5 sec to 120 sec though.
I'm going to try 480 now. :D

alright go here http://forums.es5.com
go down to where it says "Streaming&Videos
go to "Pinned The New Movie Site Is Up'
then goto 'Pinned Record The Streams On The New Site"
then you will know how to get the movies.

Good luck,
Nik

Yep I tryed to set it to 120 but, click apply and it goes to 60 :(

Captain Nemo
08-12-2003, 08:44 PM
No fast forward because there are no key frames in the middle of the videos, I see a lot of reformating in my future :D

Once again niknuyadamnbidness Thanks for the link Man!

I just found that out too: it auto-resets to 60 sec of buffering if you have typed in more than that. :D

Doesn't work for me, although I had a streaming of 346kb/s it kept on buffering every 5 - 10 seconds. :(
Must be my antique computer I suppose (450 Mhz, 160 Mb RAM).

@ Everybody asking for PM's: niknuyadamnbidness has posted a perfectly legal adress now (thanks for that :) ); have a look at his post above mine.

Yea same deal here. It keeps on buffering every 15 seconds or so. My connection speed is great, so I donīt know what the problem is. Anyone got this thing to work properly without too many interruptions?

niknuyadamnbidness
08-12-2003, 08:58 PM
alright for all of you who are having problems with fastforwarding the movies after downloading with the hi-net recorder. after you download use this tool:
http://www.geocities.com/myasftools/
and it should help to end that problem. have not tryed it my self but ppl say it works.

Captain Nemo

He has a stream grabber too , you can record streaming vids here is the link http://forums2.es5.com/index.php?act=ST&f=18&t=2267 I am recording 8 mile right now.

*Edit* When you do get Hinet , click on one of the movies to stream, once it is done buffering the first time, goto file / properties to get the url of the movie you want to record, then just copy and paste it to Hinet.

It isn't a direct download so yes it should be fine, guess we will see if it is or not.

I've clicked the link: it took me to the ES5 Forum, and the program provided there appears to be freeware, so I guess it's ok. :)

(I know, understanding our board rules is confusing at the beginning. :D )

Yes some of the links are not as they "should" be but , most of them are real.

Windows player 9 is one of the requirements, as for anything else not sure, maybe the correct codec's.
