I have a DVD Rom + CD Writer, would this suffice to be able to copy Xbox games? Even if means 1 game to 2 CD's and with the FMV's etc missing...Is it still possible to play?

sorry about the above :">

you need the following really:-

1) Xbox with mod chip fitted and evolution x dashboard
2) PC with Lan network card fitted
3) Crossover lan cable
4) DVD-RW (u can use a cd-rw but see * below)
5) XBtool or xiso (xbox iso backup tool)
6) FTP client to connect to your x-box

you basically ftp into your xbox, extract disc from d: drive using ftp client, use xbtool or xiso to make an xbox compatible iso, burn the image onto dvdr, insert into xbox and play

this is a summary of what is involved, you really need to look into www.xbox-scene.com or www.haxbox.net to get a full noob tutorial

you can burn to cd-rw but, u need a v1.1 xbox with samsung drive installed (has 2 holes in the tray) then you need to ftp image into your pc, rip movies etc, xbe patch the files then xiso and burn (again a summary)

It is a bit involved but read the FAQ in the right web pages and have a go, it canot hurt

p.s I would seriously invest in a dvdrw, or just d/l isos and burn them

have phun

Besides Btorrent and Emule (I've had BAD experiences with both, where else could I DL Isos, and how big are they on average)
