Out of these three??? I could pick any one out of these but I am not sure which one is better. The speed I know its all the same. Which one do u think is better?

NEVER AOL BORADBANd i got 10 kpbs max highest i ever went with a AOL Broadband AOL is evil!!! 50 times faster i'll rather say -50 times faster!
Roadrunner. That's what I use and I like it a lot. I get a 2 Mbps connection, unlimited bandwidth, and it is rarely down (maybe once or twice a year for maintenance) for about $40 a month.

And for road runner can u get unlimited time? For AOL broadband there is.
All those have to do is how you can connect the modem to get onto the net.
And yes, you get unlimited time for Roadrunner. As soon as you start up your computer, you are connected to the net. They don't block how much you can upload/download a month either.

im from holland (makers of fasttrack ;)), so i dunno EL* or RR.............. i do no AOL though............ enough 2 shout:
DONT GET AOL............... its a load of crap...........
*have heard of it, i no they gave away LOTS of free cds 2 make u dial up 2 their server around 1998, but dunno nething bout their quality..........

There is a cap on Road runner, depends on division, but enforcement is coming.

Time Warner Cable is who offers Roadrunner. Also, Time Warner Owns (its a time warner company and they bought it several years ago) Aol. Aol does not have their own high speed cable network. If you sign up for it all they will do is send a Time Warner Cable truck out to your house and install roadrunner. It doesnt become aol high speed for broadband until you install and run that crappy ass aol software which will let you connect to aol with a username and password through a tcp/ip, or lan connection like roadrunner.
My advice? Your better off getting roadrunner................lol. :lol: I forgot to mention that Time warner (roadrunner) also has a deal with earthlink to offer high speed cable. When you think its from earthlink your actually getting time warner service.
Their sort of monopolizing. :D

u might try comcast. they'r not the best, but i get 2.5 meg/sec surf speed for 29.99/month. and my dl is about 400-500kb/s max. try it.

First off, you can't get 400-500kb/s with a 2.5mbit connection.
Second, Comcast may be cheaper, but you have a a bandwidth cap.
RoadRunner is a 3mbit connection (Missouri) with unlimited bandwidth at 300kb/s max. Although I have hit 317kb/s before. (It only happened once.)

An rj45 connector is merely the component that resides at the tip of the cat-5 cable so you can plug it into the ethernet card and modem jack. It looks just like the component at the tip of a phone cord and actually they are of the same family except the rj45 peice is a little bigger. The one on the phone cords is a rj??, I forget now. I had to learn all that junk in my cisco networking class, we actually had to make a cat-5 cable from scratch and attach an rj45 connector to both ends of it.
You shouldnt have to worry about that because unless your making the cat-5 yourself its gonna come with the rj45 connector attached to it so you can plug it in.
Usb ports suck when it comes to hooking up your cable modem. But they will work if your modem has a usb port to plug it into. Most of the times if you have more than one computer roadrunner gives you a router that you can hook up by usb and then cat-5 to your cable modem. I wouldnt us them if I were you. Besides a few wireless solutions available from roadrunner, ethernet cards are still the most efficient and preferred solution for most high speed cable customers.
