I see some people posting about "+1" or "-1". I also remember being able to vote posts but now I can't. I was wondering what's the deal with this? Is it possible I have been banned from using the rating system?

No. The Bittards abused the thumbs up/down system (like so many other site features) so it was removed.

The posts such as +1 or -1 are akin saying "I agree" or "I disagree". Such posts are also considered spam and typically deleted.

not really, you have +2, +3 etc.

Skizo was close, but it's more of a "me too" and then +2 is "me three" in that idiomatic sense.

If you see tag abuse, report it.

Mods can view who posted them. We can also removed them if needed. ;)
