TorrentLeech IP ban

Hey guys,

I don't know what to do because I am ip banned from TorrentLeech because i logged in at my cousin's house when I didn't know that his brother had a TorrentLeech account. And then I got my account disabled and IP banned at home. Is there anyway I can get back my account? I haven't been able to get on IRC because whenever I try to connect it says Connection Refused. Can Someone help me?

You got banned because they thought you had two accs there.

There's nothing you can do, i don't think they will re-enable your acc.

try to delete cookies and reset your router, if the ip banned has disappeared pm me, i will give you a fresh account ;)

yea i tried that a million times..i have comcast so the ip doesnt change...
i was hoping to contact a staff member or something :D

that account was there for 100+ weeks! and with 2 Tera uploaded..i was hoping to keep it..damn!

To change your IP, you need to connect a different computer/router to your modem, then turn the modem off and back on.

If you use a router, most have a 'clone mac address' feature. If you just change the mac address a little, and reset the modem, it will give you a new IP.

If you have only 1 computer and no router, there are ways to change your network card's mac address too.

It gives you the same IP because you are probably not switching what the modem see's.

Hope this helps, works for me and I use comcast.

umm i checked it at his house because i needed to download something..why else would i check it? u know one reason i regret coming to this place sometimes is the attitude and interrogation i get

The faq's say something about never logging in from any IP but your original one? :ermm:

I think not...

I check my stuff from work/home/friends all the time, not to mention IP's change. Maybe he didn't know, or forgot, his friend also had an account.
