If you are talking about the original Japanese version then I would say it was pretty good with some truly scary scenes and fairly convincing acting.
If you are talking about the recent remake then I'm afraid waeldiab I going to have to disagree with you.
The movie never really worked for me.Girl loses eyesight in tragic accident.Years later due to miraculous operation she regains her eyesight.Bad things happen.Same plot highlights,same ending but it left me feeling underwhelmed.
Or maybe it's that any movie starring Jessica Alba in which she doesn't remove most of her clothes at some point I view as just one colossal missed opportunity.
