Okay ive been looking at getting the VPS Raptor 5 and have some questions.

1. Is the 100mbit shared?
2. Is there FTP access?
3. Is the 60 GB Webspace the amount I can store on the server?

Thanks.

shouldn't you msg the company that? They are the ones who are providing it.

i think the company should provide these details. try looking there web site for available plans. these are basic things that any company would specifically list in there features...

"On this package each master server hosts 5 Virtual Dedicated Servers"

yes it shared. In that case its better to get torrentflux gui because its cheaper and shared between 4 users.

It's a yes on all your questions there.

I currently have a Raptor Vps from there as well, it's very good actually, can get speeds up to 10 MB download, and 8 MB upload, all depends on who you share it with, and the peers of course ;)

I have a Raptor 5. Speeds are great, but Windows is a bit crappy, so go with linux if you can.
100mbit is standard.
Ftp access is there, you have to install an FTP server yourself though.
No, the actual torrent drive is only 50GB. Most servers seem to have a partition like this though.

where exactly do they host the servers?
and if u get the dedicated from them
can u push 100mbit in/out all the time? or is their network crappy?

network is perfect but the connection is still shared, so if you will start overloading they can give you an notice,
I did use ones 16 TB :)) and got the strike, had to reformat the HDD :)) but it worthed.
In general they are very good for the monthly price you pay.

For VDS beter look at http://hosting-ie.com/content/view/29/66/
"On this package each master server hosts 3 Virtual Dedicated Servers"

SO speed there is very good for VDS

what about the 3 month minimum contract? I want to test the service for a month. Not for three.

There is nothing you can do about it, trust me I tried to negotiate with their legal department and chief. ;)

read the contract

they have 30 days cancellation rule
give them the notice when ordering the server
that's it.

I know people who did that and it works.

But make sure you do it asap when ordered, if you need just for 1 month
so renew date must be 30 days form your request, not 28 not 29, minimum 30 so you need to do it asap after the order
they take ticket creation date as an basis.

yep

30 day notice works with them fine
But Germans are too correct :)
no more no less.
