Awww, :console:. I have no idea how that feels, but I when I had my tongue pierced I couldn't eat properly for a week so I imagine it's about 100x that. My wisdom teeth finished coming through a few years ago and have never given me any trouble, but that's probably because I've got a big mouth :(.

You'll probably have to puree everything for a few days.

Oi you! My teeth are great. Ok, I haven't been to the dentist in 11 years and they're a little irregular and they're not the whitest, but I don't have any fillings and they've never given me any pain in that whole time. Trouble with you lot is you need a pearly smile to distract people from the shit you're talking.

WTF all of my wisdom teeth were out completely by the age of, like, 16.. Never gave me any pain.

Probably because I've got much wisdom reeking off of me :01:

Maybe it's like Samson. If you have them removed you become stupid. Bad luck Smith!

I think its because the bottom 3 had developed roots, if I had gotten this done at 16 (I cant remember if they were growing in), it wouldn't be as bad. I have to say I feel a lot better right now. This morning I woke up around 4am and my face was a balloon but its not bleeding nearly as much anymore.

Shit, i might even go to work tomorrow.

^ The bottom 3?!

There's only 4 wisdom teeth in your whole mouth... Aren't there?!

I thought that, but didn't want to look silly by asking .

No wonder it's bleeding so much.

Should be two at the bottom and two at the top - sounds like he took a molar too just for good measure. :O

I have 6.
4 in the bottom and 2 on the top...
It's wierd because the dentist said the regular wisdom teeth will come in without giving me any problems but that the extra set might give me problems....
This thread reminds me that I need to see the dentist about that at some point or they mgiht be a bitch to remove.

I had an extra on the bottom right. On the x-ray it looks like a pop corn kernel.

Really! I had no idea you could get more than 4. Great, hope I don't have some sort of toothy sword of damocles imperilling my dental health .

You only have 4, 2 at the top and 2 at the bottom.

It's just that after they've been taken out the dentist makes up a far fetched story about extra teeth to find out just how stupid they've become.

BTW, I had eight.

Sell it. Sell it now before the price of oil goes any higher. You could make a nifty profit off of that extra tooth :smilie4:

I had a third out a week and a half ago, so I feel your pain. Takes forever to heal too, which sucks, but its gotta be done. Rinse with salt water after you eat. And take a lot of painkillers.

I had mine removed about 10 years ago ... I can still remember it cause the stupid dentist started to cut them out to soon, before the anesthytic started working ... than he waited for a minute and continued, but it still hurted like hell ... this mittle game went on for three or four times until the retard realised he'd given me only 1/4th of the dose I should've gotten.

He really sucked at his job ... or I'm just a big pussy.

Ah, that reminds me of the time my dentist decided to remove one of my molars because it was cracked and had an abcess underneath it.
It bled for 3 days and hard bits of pus were coming out of my gums.
I realised then that it wasn't supposed to be like that and got a hefty course of antibiotics to sort it out.

Ironic that, as the dentist told me that I have so much trouble with my teeth because of all the antibiotics I was given as a child.
Hmmmmm.
