Hey, i was wondering if anyone could help me, my friend downloaded a game, then sent it to me.. His works fine on his comp, but it doesnt work atall on my comp..

I have a fairly new comp, so i dont know if i need some other stuff to make it work..

He sent me the installer (Dave Mirra Freestyle BMX) and it installs ok, but when i go to run the game, it asks me what "Device" i would like to use, as there is only one item in the drop down box, i didnt change it.. and then it asks what res to play at, i have tried all of them, but when i click OK to actually play the game the screen res changes then the screen goes black for a sec, then goes back to normal res, and the game isnt running or anything... As this doesnt happen on his comp, i decided it must be my comp, and i was wondering how to sort it out..

If it matters i have a Radeon 9200 128mb ddr gfx card, Athlon 2400+ (2GHZ), and 256 mb RAM..

Me and my friend are both on XP..

Thanks in advanced..

Sounds like a strange problem but it might be something to do with drivers. Make sure you have the most up to date drivers for your OS, graphics card, sound card and other stuff. This may help it run properly. Also try looking for the latsest patch for the game. Hopefully this will sort out your problem.

Ok, ive downloaded the latest drivers, and no - still refuses to work.. :swear:

So -

Its not the game.

Its not the drivers.

Its not my specs.

Wtf else can it be?
