I know.....I really want one. They've got a floating clock too, but actually I think a globe would be more useful.

 Only you would think that a globe would be more useful than a clock!
"What's the time, squeamous?"
"Madagascar!"

How often do you use a globe to find out where you are?

Someone in the office might be planning their holidays and want to know where I think the US will next invade :snooty:.
Typical.
All these spam ads, and no-one does a thing about them.

"Half past seven."

When I was ickle we had our parents point out where we were.
Then we'd check were we were in relation to other places, and stuff like that.
Globes are orsum for stuff like that.
Fun to look at when you are planning trips to faraway places as well. Flat maps are boring, and distorted.

The only problem is, you have to keep them updated. Biggles and JPaul were going on about visiting Atlantis the other day, until I put them right :yup:.

I love globes, I find them fascinating.
Don't make me out to be some kind of globophobe :(

Yeah, but not as much as you like the time eh? It's ok, we understand.
