I ordered a hosting-ie box with linux but I am having a few problems with setup. I am mostly acquanted with debian systems and I am a little lost. Can someone help me with setup ? I am in a shell right now with no x or vnc. I know the package manager is rpm but are there repositories ? Thank you to anyone who helps me. I know I am a new member here but I have been browsing for months.

Read the Tuts section, you might find this thread useful:

I have used Naq's guide for past seedboxes but I just decided to go with rtorrent this time. Much more lightweight and no problems with https trackers on linux, wine, and utorrent.

To my knowledge, RPM repos aren't so good but I never tried them out myself...
Found two guides that should work with whatever RPM distro you use, this (http://www.walkernews.net/2007/07/05/how-to-setup-linux-vnc-server/) and this one (http://www.linuxforums.org/forum/linux-tutorials-howtos-reference-material/971-installing-running-vnc-redhat-rpm-linux.html).
