http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v383/Hairbautt/WinFlip.png"WinFlip is a 'Flip 3D' function for Windows XP
It provides an alternate window-switcher to the standard Windows Alt-Tab. Winflip displays all open windows in a 3D stack, which the user can flick through and select using either keyboard or mouse."

WinFlip is a light-weight standalone program (only a 600KB download, ~1MB uncompressed) and a great free alternative to XP's default task switcher. While WinFlip doesn't provide any additional 3-D environments other than an emulation of Vista's default flip 3D, WinFlip is still easily comparable to Otaku's $20 TopDesk prog. and comes with great customizable features to enhance performance, quality and function.

Changelog:

-An exclusion list is supported.
-TrueTransparency(v.0.9.2) is supported.
-Add shortcut to startup.
-Start flip from the shortcut icon.
-WinFlip still crashes sometimes but this version doesn't stop entire system when it crashed.
-Outlook conflict problem is fixed.(Uncheck "Capture image when a new window appears" option in "Other" section.)
-Languages Updated.

I tried the program. It's definitely lite on resource use and cool but until there's an installer, I'll pass.

I think its meant to be a light-weight app. Don't think I've ever seen any talk 'bout it having an installer...

Post back on how you liked/disliked it.

 Did you meet the system requirements? I've been running this prog. since I posted this thread and I havn't had any crashes/slows.

Its no prob for most pcs today (definitive!) and its very useful too, so give it a try...

@tusks: it has autostart-option, so its no problem that it won't be installed ;)
