Compared to American football, soccer is more fun to play. You spend more time playing, than bitching about nit-picking rules, such as having total control of the ball, and stopping the game every 3 seconds.

I hate to seem the dumb american, but It never crossed my mind about the cheerleaders(the abscence in Europe). Thanks for the info.

Edit:I don't watch sports often and when I do it's mostly Hockey.
