Pay no attention to the offensive propaganda.

They are a well-meaning bunch, in essence.

You got cojones to use your first post to say hi in the lounge, I grant you that.

So a hearty greetings and all that. Dive in and have fun. If you can piss someone off in the first week you know you're on the right track. ;)

Hoi Kallie, where the hell have you been? Long time no see.. You've missed a great larf at the expense of some old cawk Geezer.. Guess you're just too nice to get into that type of mess aren't you?

kallieb
06-09-2008, 08:21 PM
Well Hello hello! I've been around but busy doing other things. Thanks for the kind regards.

My thoughts are....picking on old fellers is a bit like nailing jello to a wall. Whatever you say or do doesn't quite stick, and it just slides off anyways.

tralalala
06-09-2008, 08:24 PM
Still, a good laugh for boring dead moments throughout the day.. Especially when the old fellar, like, thinks he's orsum and knows better than all, when in fact he gets PWNED time and time again

What you been up to then?

kallieb
06-09-2008, 08:37 PM
Indeed!

Life is grand. Lots of changes, but ones of my choosing and design. I'm planning a shift from small town living to big city life later this summer so I'm quite pleased with the change in scenery!

All going well for you in that oddly exotic and dull-than-wildly- busy place you call home?

tralalala
06-09-2008, 08:41 PM
Which big city you gonna move to?

And all is sweet and sound here, no war currently so that's a good thing I guess  We're OK thanks a bunch :)

kallieb
06-09-2008, 08:51 PM
Now that's a positive attitude!

Now sure which city yet, I have a few choices which is quite nice. Sticking to Canadia ofc.

The way I look at it, I've been small town livin' long enough that anything of a greater population than 100,000 will probably make my head swoon.

La vita è bella :)

Use in Spanish and etymology

Cojón IPA: [ko'xon] (plural: cojones) along with huevos (literally "eggs") is one of the most common ways of referring to the testicles in Spanish.

I think the Old Cunt lost his cojones back in the First War between the Israelites and the Prophet Ephraim.

Now his lingering crotchbasket has nought inside it but sand and dust.

I've already tried telling him that. The whipper snapper has no ear for his elders tho'.

I remember taking those classes. Even if I didn't like the current story, I could always open up our huge literature book and find some good short stories to read. Short stories ftw. :01:

i quoted exams, not learning :). i've never been a fan of literature either though my definition of not liking literature refers to learning shakespeare plays etc.

But am a big fan of the classics regarding novels, shakespeare plays just bored me to hell when i was reading them.

shakespeare plays just bored me to hell when i was reading them.

I don't know Shakespeare had a devilish sense of humor and was considered very rude for his time "Even now as you wait, the black ram is tupping your white ewe" from Othello is just one example, and he had a flair for making fun of his characters. If you get past the middle english so much of literature afterwards owes itself at least something to his structure or literary devices.
Name one other author or playwright who is still so commonly quoted even today "A rose by any other name would smell as sweet?", "All the world is a stage, and all the people players".
Now back to the usual silliness........

Literature is a proper subject.

Quoted by Homerathus Simpsonala and a quote I use on many occasions in my life "trying is the first step to failure, the lesson is never try".

But on a more serious note- yeah I agree majority of old quotes from playwrights are shakespeare but there's a quote which I still use very often from Rime of the Ancient Mariner. That was an epic poem "water water everywhere and not a drop to drink".

Literature is for arses that can't seem to put 2 and 2 together, and who feel someone gives a shit about their feelings about a story some bored-ass bloke wrote 400 years ago, because he had nothing better to do and the lager had just ran out in his fridge.

Chemistry - Now THAT'S a subject.. Makes wars and co. way more interesting.. Nuclear bombs and co.. Orsum

I like Harlan Coben books if that's alright with you lot...

@Shemale - Kingdom Come is an orsum album.. Try it.

Kallie, the whole point of Chemistry is to blow shit up.. It's an art in itself. On top of that, Literature is alright as long as you don't have to go and figure out what the feck the writer was after and crap like that.. Let me enjoy the story, I don't give a rat's ass when or why he/she wrote what they wrote.. <_<
