Hey, hows it going. I currently use Santrex as one of my seedboxes and they provide good customer service and decent speeds. They have decent speeds, depending on which location you pick and how many users there are. I would recommend them overall, and you can use the promo code "nordic" without the quotes for an additional 10% off. I would recommend seedhost.eu over them though as they have better speeds and vnc access.

Are you really ok with them? Never got even close to descent speeds even when using sites like ***. Their servers keep crashing and it takes forever to answer back on support tickets.
Currently the server i am on is offline since yesterday and there is no respond by their support dept.

I would recommend seedhost over them any day but I have not had any problems using their service. Try going into their irc and talking. They always have 40+ staff in there and are glad to help.

Review: I signed up because they were one of the cheapest providers with unlimited bandwidth. Well i soon learned that unlimited bandwidth does not help you if the box cannot top 700 kbps up and 3 mb/s down. In reality this box is more like having a 2nd home connection or just a leechbox.

Recommended: Hell no, stay far away, they also have the worst customer service ever, where they just ignore you when you are in their irc channel.

I can't help but feel the same way. We are in their irc asking for a refund and support. They are complete shit, here is my review:

1. Santrex

Review: Signed up for uTorrent in US, got a box in France. Download speeds was complete crap at less than 1mb/s and upload never reaching more than 50kbp/s. Their support "team" is terrible and not afraid to insult their users and make them look like complete idiots. They blame poor speeds on routing and poor trackers. Well, I guess TL, What, RevTT, PTN, and SCC are complete s*** trackers ? My home connection is faster and more reliable than this hosting provider. After complaining about speeds, I was moved to a Torrentflux box. The admin was all over me asking if it was ok and would not leave me alone. Transfers die, slow speeds, and stuck transfers were just a few of the problems.

Recommended: No, stay away. Their support is a joke, it is virtually non-resistant. Terrible speeds, service, reliability.

Rating: 1/10

if you think leaseweb is great, try using the seedhost.eu, even though they are the reseller of the ovh, speeds are awesome, i honestly dont know much configuration much, but i usually get 4 5 mb dl ul from leaseweb, but with this one, ovh, i got 10 mb for 3 hours now still seeding with 7 mb... one torrent... here is the current state of the one torrent i was talking about...

well i dont know about it dude, i cant be even sure of it, but there are configurations and such... even if u get ovh without configuration it is useless, you shall ask to person that i talked with him though he doesnt help much till you order the package... I have the 90 euro package, and i think i will buffer 1 tb to revtt today with this speed.... Also it is your money :D

A simple answer to all those bad threads about santrex, for every successful business there is scammers and enemies willing to get it down. End of the story santrex is a successful business that have a good huge amount of customers, santrex do offer a high standard quick support response and does as well listen to it's customers. If enemies out there want santrex to go DOWN it wont go down and will continue offering the most cheap and stable services around.

Santrex is seeming less and less trustworthy the more I keep checking threads on this forum.. hm.. I didn't want to jump to conclusions since I've never used them, but now I can't be too sure.

Sometimes people expect too much, and most of the problems providers encounter is the lack of users knowledge they get angry so fast that they start their first support ticket by insulting the provider members. They also cause so much stress to the customer support then when we try to help them they post another ticket saying Oh I am so sorry the service is working just perfect now, then another minute oh the f*cking service is slow and shit I want refund and so on.

This is not always true, some places (and I'm not saying Santrex) have really terrible support. And those certain places shouldn't get the benefit of hiding behind the shield of "some users set up their boxes wrong".

cvb who promised to move you to a french socks server? could you please email [email protected] with your full name and username and we will get that sorted for you I am sure there is some kind of mistake on your behalf, and regarding the issues on this board I am not really worried if people would try me or not, I do have enough users on my network and I am happy that way I just wanted to make it clear to everyone that not because a few users are angry means my network sucks, I doubt it that any company does support the same way as we do.

DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY !!!! I ordered a dedicated server from them 4 days ago and keep getting promised tomorrow tomorrow tomorrow. When setup is supposed to be within 24 hours. If your lucky enough to get a response from someone all they do is give you the run atound. I have asked for a refund and no response at all now. They are a big SCAM.This is their forum.

I ordered an in stock dedicated server wendsday night and was told it would take between 24-48 hours to have it up and running. This is also posted in your forums. Which says uptime is 24 hours unless there is a hardware issue than its 48 hours. We offer our dedicated in one to two working days, working days is excluding weekends. If you are not patient enough to wait for a dedicated server even so you ordered it just 48hrs ago then go ahead and do it the way you want just let us know so we can cancel it on our side.

Bare in mind that we are during a weekend so taking 3 days or 4 including weekends is a two working days, so probably what you need to do is to relax and chillout.

Got my info in about 3 hours.

But I don't like the upload speeds at the moment.
I'm having something between 5kb/s and 50kb/s.
Sometimes it's going above 100kb/s but that's still slow :S

I was on many different servers and switched around a lot. You won't get better than 100kbp/s up. Maybe more if your lucky.

29 $ = ~ 20 Euro, on our website 22 Euro can buy a server shared with 3 other people (max 4 people on the server), with Santrex it's more than 8. That's why you cannot expect good speed.

Santrex is terrible! Everyone stay away from them. I have the regular torrent flux package ($29) and it has been down 8 times in 2 months for around 2-3 days at a time causing me to be banned from several trackers. I do get about 2MB/s up speed though and I feel sorry for those stuck with 100KB/s. I keep getting the run around and they will not move me to a different server.Every support ticket I open takes more than 7 hours to recieve a response. The worst thing is they DONT GIVE REFUNDS!!! Thats never a good sign. And for those who say "You set up the seedbox wrong", how could I? They're already set up. I have several other seedboxes with different hosts and they are all better than Santrex.They get better speeds, support, uptime,space,everything. This will definitely be the last month I use their service.

Really? I used to use santrex but now cant afford it anymore (running poor, as im paying up for college etc) I used to get 4-5 MB/s up

However my friend is still using their webui seedbox and he gave me a screenshot of the speeds he got. Look!

i just purchased a seedbox from seedhost.eu the share3 plan for 18 euro's. I noticed on the invoice it said due date is a week from today, does that mean im going to be waiting a week before i get my box? any help would be appreciated

I have tried a few seedboxes providers such as santrex, torrentswift, and seedboxeu and found that due to the sharing environment you will always get from time to time bad/slow performance it's how it is you never know what the others shared with you would be doing maybe someone is eating the whole bandwidth or maybe not, also I was always blaming my providers for the slow performance when sometimes it was only the files I am downloading, anyway I maxed 8-10mb/sec on a US flux server from Santrex and honestly the guys were so supportive with me in the begining when I had some issues when it was only me :p !!Good work guys keep going!!

I dont think that Santrex is as bad as people mentions here. I been a custormer for about 6 month now, and support tickes has always been replied within hours. Last Friday I got my ticket replied at 23:34, only 3 hours later than I placed it. The information they give you via e-mail, about the network stabilty, is quite awesome also.

i was a customer with santrex for one month. i used them because they accept cashu anonymous payment option.

i got the 50gb plan.

only downside was you can not delete torrent+data via. the utorrent interface. you allways have to log into your ftp to delete the .torrent and data files. but i do not know if that is a problem with santrex or a utorrent bug.

speeds were great. i was abled to download at full speed and uploads were between 2mb/s and peaked at 9,5mb/s. i used them on xwt and tl and on both trackers if there were enough peers i would upload at a constant 3mb/s.

Santrex is one of those Seedbox providers who have very good support. That's something that matters for me. I've used them for 4 month. A little too expensive though.

I have used Santex for 4 months now and i completely regret it. The first month was used very lightly. Maybe 1 or 2 torrents. It never crashed but i noticed that after a while my torrents were suddenly erased. Having 1 ot 2 to re upload didnt bother me. I thought nothing of it, and went with a 3 month contract.

Simply the worst decision of my life. My seeding torrents get removed on a daily basis now. Their customer service is a joke. For example i explained that there was a problem deleting the files from their ftp server. If i selected several files, it would only delete one, and then log me out. I would then have to log back in again and if it happened more than 10 times, which it always did, i would be locked out. They replied after 24 hours and said 'does this happen when deleting your torrents'?!!
As for the removal of my torrents they keep sating it's due to a corrupt data or torrent. I tested their theory on another seedbox and it NEVER happens. I wont be using them again!!

Just thought i would let you know because i dont want someone to go through the pain and torture that i have been through!!

Sometimes people expect too much, and most of the problems providers encounter is the lack of users knowledge they get angry so fast that they start their first support ticket by insulting the provider members.
They also cause so much stress to the customer support then when we try to help them they post another ticket saying
