Been upgrading my dads PC from a tiny with all the gubbins to a brand new nice and fast model, but the only problem we've had is finding drivers for his scanner, made by Tiny. We've searched on download.com but to no avail and google hasn't helped, anybody got a site or kazaa hash for tiny scanner drivers

Scanner:

600DPI (36 bit) USB flatbed colour scanner

thats it :D

Any help would be appreciated

thanks

this might sound a bit strange, but stick with it :P - i had a problem with a scanner driver myself with xp, a packard bell scanner. after over a month of searching (and getting no help from p.b. ), it turned out that a different company took over the making of the model i had, mustek. they had drivers for the model (worked for other folk, but not me). i had a look on some forums when you first posted, and i remember reading something about 'visioneer' had something to do with 'tiny' scanners - 600<xxx> flatbed scanners, it might be worth checking out.

yeh tiny use hp and visioneer scanners, are there any other other stickers or numbers anywhere on scanner on the bottom or back? is there an fcc no? if you still have the original installation disc that came with scanner explore it and see what drivers are on there ie any hint of a name or type and then use those numbers to search on driverguide.com also i would try and install with win2000 drivers if you cant find xp drivers. most of the time they work. :D
