Is there anyway to transfer files other than ftp? I'm having a lot of trouble on the set-up for some reason... Thanks.

Well, I can't even install CuteFTP on my home, which is really pissing me off. It says Access Denied on installing a .dll file.

Explain http access?

Are u using vista? If yes, then disable UAC or install it while logged in "safe mode"

You can also try installing it in a different location.

you could try setting up a torrent on your seedbox for you to leech from, if you still can't figure out ftp.

utorrent has an internal tracker that you can enable.

I was about to start looking for some info on this. I couldn't find any function like that in my client (using Ubuntu server with wine and 1.77 or whatever).

How is that done?

Check out "Easy File Sharing Web Server" http://www.sharing-file.com/ I'm using it on my Windows 2003 VPS and it works great. Set up time takes about 5 minutes. This solution can also be used in conjunction with a download manager such as flashget for even better results. PM me and and I can send you in the right direction.

You must go to Preferences Menu > Advanced, then set bt.enable_tracker value to "true".

Your announce url will be:

http://ip:port/announce

Port will be the listening port for your uTorrent.
