Zalman is finally entering the mainstream chassis market with the GS1000 (I wonder what Suzuki thinks about that name?).

Specs/pics here. (http://www.zalman.co.kr/ENG/product/Product_Read.asp?idx=310)

Looks like they surveyed the field and incorporated the best ideas from the competition into one package.
I even think it looks quite handsome.

No clue about price/availability but should be worth a serious look.

No removable motherboard tray?:(
Otherwise nice design.
I like the compartmentalized PSU but don't know about the ventilated floor.Even with the feet there can't be much space for airflow.

No removable motherboard tray?:(

Given the way that wiring is hidden behind the tray and exits through slots, I don't see how they could make the tray removable.
Besides, my Silverstone's tray is removable and I rarely use the capability...it's just as easy to work within the case most times.

Not a deal-breaker for me.

My Stacker was modified to fit the radiator on the floor and airflow wasn't an issue...nor was dust for that matter.

Quite versatile and reasonable at $199.95.

I wonder what Suzuki thinks about that name?

Or that they called it the GS1000.

That is one nice case and I might have to give it a go once I start my new build in a few months.

I really like how easy they make it to install and uninstall the hard drives and that it holds up to 8 of them.

Krugerands!!I don't think so.

A Krugerrand contains exactly 1 troy ounce of gold, and is worth about £450/$900 at today's prices.

Not even the best Zalman case is worth nearly $2million. :O

Just seen that case for under £100 including tax, I'm tempted, really tempted.

I'm a little disappointed in you, clocker.

I expected you to come back with examples of Zalman's new $3M case, platinum plated titanium for light weight and corrosion resistance, externally detailed in gold foil, white LEDs with covers made of ruby, emerald and sapphire.

I'm saving that for when things get really slow.
