At this moment, it's always open signup and it's the only way in, you just have to be smart and catch one of the auto-disablement slots or a banning slot.

And because it's open signup, any changes of account holder are vigorously monitored and hunted down, and you can guess the consequences of your actions, and I'm sure the person who gets an ScL and gets disabled isn't going to be happy practically being scammed out of their trade.
