um,,, y arn't you an admin? i mean just switch to admin on xp.

yep what you do is ask your admin to install it for you ;)

even if you do manage to install it you then have to get it past any firewall that has been implemented which is a major pain.

u cant install that stuff without the privileges

if i were u id:
A)give up, or
B) search 4 **********************(yes, this IS possible, but dun ax here, thats a no no question)

Are you logged on as a guest or a power user. Power users can have install rights.
The admin. still has to give you power user rights though.
