Can anybody explain me wat is all "Freddy Vs. Jason " about, i think it not only this movie its about 2 legends i saw "Horror at ... street" its same kind of movie with same charectors

The ultimate forms of Hell are about to be unleashed on Earth once again. Freddy Krueger (Robert Englund) is desparate to kill, but he can't since the parents of Elm Street have been doping their kids up with dream suppressants. So, he manipulates hulking, hockey-masked serial killer Jason Voorhees (Ken Kirzinger), through dream manipulation of his mother (Paula Shaw) and gulit, to go to Elm Street and dispatch the kids so the parents will think the pills are useless and stop giving it to them (which will free Freddy once again). But Freddy's plans don't go according to schedule when Jason discovers that he has been manipulated, which really sends him over the egde. So, it's up to teenagers Will (Jason Ritter), Lori (Monica Keena), and Kia (Kelly Rowland), along with other survivors of both killers, to lure Jason back to Camp Crystal Lake to kill Freddy once and for all...

This movie would kick ass if kelly rowlands got her lungs removed by jason, but she won't so it will probably be a dissapointment.

Metro U is a bad person..pissing these limited knowlege teenagers off like that..LOL :lol: So say if i turned round and said i did'nt like TV shows like The Cosby Show and The Fresh Prince?!? P.S. In reply to LL Cool J's acting ability..I reckon he's another who's just had the wrong scripts/roles given to him..Toys, Halloween H20 WTF!?!?! Now u look at him in SWAT..they've dropped the little comedy/funny/jolly streak running through all his previous characters...and u know what, I think he comes across as a lot better actor for it, just playin' it dead straight..Right i'm done gonna go and watch a triple bill of Cool as Ice..Anaconda and Half past Dead!?!?! :blink:

is the acting in either series really that good
death and mutilation is the core of both these charachters
it was never going to be horror after the first two 13ths and the 1st freddy they both became formula
you know whats going to happen in both so i was not really expecting a great movie but i would have to ratre it 4/5 because its original in thje sense that its not been done before

Freddy VS. Jason wasn&#39;t exactly a bad horrible movie like the critics said it was. It was actually an ok horror film. I for one liked Monica Keena the most she did a pretty good job in her role not to mention how hot she is&#33; Kelly Rowland from Destiny&#39;s Child was ok I guess given the role she had she is hot to, but nothing to special from her.I like when the girl in the beginning gets naked and jumps in the water. We all know she&#39;s gonna get killed so you could say the movie was kinda predictable.

Ronny Yu did a average job. I would of prefered Wes Craven though, but the director doesn&#39;t really impact a movie. It&#39;s the actors and actresses storyline etc. Also the writers did an average job seeing as New Line got two totally new writers to write the script. Maybe it would of been better if it was written and directed by Wes Craven...never know.

Jason went on his usual killing spree in this movie (nothing new). Freddy Krueger had a few good spots in the movie the beginning was kinda creepy when they did a close up on different parts of his face. I liked when he said "Welcome to my nightmare" but he didn&#39;t say it the same as he did on www.freddvsjason.com. On the site it sounded cooler. Anyways the good quote he said was "This bitch is dead on her feet". It was "ok", nothing spectacular. The movie wasn&#39;t funny at all and I don&#39;t why some people find it hilarious seeing as it&#39;s not a comedy. But the only part I did laugh at is when Freddy had control of the stoner dude and the other dude was trying to to tell him to run from Jason. He said "Let me handle this bitch".

The fight scenes between Freddy and Jason were average. It wasn&#39;t nothing special. They really went at each other though tearing each other apart, and the ending was kinda stupid.Wait it was stupid. It just blatantly tells you there is gonna be a sequel. Jason&#39;s mom was telling him "he can never die" but he definatly does need to die and so does Freddy for good&#33; Maybe in the next movie they will finally let Freddy and Jason die for good because they keep bringing them back this whole act with both of them is old now. Hollywood needs to create a fresh new franchise and stop living off of old ones.

Overall it was an average movie I give it a 5/10.

i finally got it off tmd moviez, the first half of the movie wasnt really all that good, some funny dialog thats about it, jason, well you can tell it isnt kane hodder, not that jason was bad in this movie but it lacked hodder&#39;s menace. freddy is back just like we left him, shouting out one liners. freddy did a awesome job in this movie, especially in the fight scene, i was surprised he faired so well against the uncompribable jason voorhees. in all respect it added a few more chapters in the freddy and jason saga, explained a few things, and by the ending it looks like freddy and jason are here to stay. id give it a 7/10
