Turn your monitor upside down. If that doesn't work, install Gspot, and use it to find out what codec is needed. B)

LOL...well...you could turn your monitor upside down...lol...anywho, what did you use to burn it? Nero perhaps? it has the tendancy to do that...alot. 120% Alcohol is probably your best bet.

So stonecold i should use vcdeasy to encode first and then use nero. Is this what you meant? Thx if so.

NEVER encode with nero cause it sucks at it,sometimes picture get upside down and sync problems so use a real encoder instead like TMPGenc.

But extract the sound of your movie first with Virtual Dub and then use that wave as a audio sorce in TMPGEnc.

welcome to the bored n00b...

ge tmpeg to split the vcd, that is unless u let nero convert it then just get a video splitter

Maybe your television is upside down  .
Use TMPGenc to encode from now on!

 Use Cinema Craft Encoder to encode it's far better than TMPEGEnc. It gives better quality and it's faster.

Every time I try to convert a AVI to VCD it displays inverted (upside down) on Windows Media Player and also my DVD player. :(

Is there a option in NERO 5.5.9.9 that makes this occur or is there a way to avoid this occuring?

the people on doom9.org could explain it better but here goes:

It is a flaw in direct show, I think. Get the ffdshow direct show decoder if you don't already have it. In the configuration windows, highlight"misc." and check the "flip video" box.
