These guys are annoying now. They used to be good but there music gets old after a while. I'm just sick of them. Maybe when they come out with a new album I will start liking them again...that's a big MAYBE.
They are designed to make the record label alot of money and fade away into oblivion. Don't expect good music out of them. Top 40 music sux. It always has and always will.

their new stuff doesnt stick around as much as the old, i mean i heard faint its ok, got old fast. the first song died out even quicker, and breaking the habit played for about 2 weeks here and then disappeared.

well do I have to comment NU Meatl sux it isnt metal and yes I hate Linkin Park and all groups like that sorry I like tto hear guitar solos and chuncky riffs non eof thsi trebble shit sound rap over rock

they never fade out on me. numb is the next sing and is definutely one of the best songs on the record. i dont like faint all that much but this is accually one of the few records where every single song on the album is good.

Nah im a 13 year old kid who's favourite bands are linkin park, blink 182, limp bizkit, korn and i really like eminem aswell...i live in middle america in a nice posh home with my mum and dad and my 2 older brothers and a younger sister...i do the paper run in my area and i saved up and have just brought a brand new stereo so i can play my linkin park - meteora CD up way loud...and yeah i just got my allowence today so i can put that away and buy the new limp bizkit CD and korn CD when they come out...im so happy at the moment...oh and my girlfriend and i are going to the linkin park concert next weekend...it will be so cool...so yeah thats who i am...and im not upset by you...im upset by your ignorance...

You people that rag on great bands like Linkin Park and such r crazy! They got to where they r cause they're good...their first CD had 3 major singles and I'm pretty sure without me looking around on the net, went Platinum AT LEAST once. Obviously u guys have your own opinions, though they disagree with millions upon millions of others. As far as disliking new age metal, I don't. It's great and it's breeding a whole new era of rock music. The sad thing is the majority of these people complaining about these bands have actually bought/downloaded or are currently listening to these cd's and will listen to them repeatedly...

Ok I repect teh ppl that listen to it of course and they can lsiten to it by choise of course heaps of ppl hate the stuff I listen too it doesnt mean that we have to insult ppl but I will say this
Just becasue Linkin Park sell alot of records doen't mean their great for f*ck sake have a look at the top 40 crap so if your judging a band of how good they are just by record sales it aint the right way to go

Butterfly Effect's latest CD debut @ no 23 on the Australian charts
It took them a hollywood producer and lots of $$$ to get to 23 on the Australian Charts
I mean yeah i built them up heaps on this board...but i was a little dissapointed they didn't keep the sound from their EP...but ya get that in life...but i can just see The Buttefly Effect go down the same road...
I just hope they don't...cause look what happened to silverchair...i don't want that happening to The Butterfly Effect cause they are such great guys and they are loyal to their fans...i met The Butterfly Effect last year when they were touring their ass off...just the same way silverchair did when they were younger...

But you can draw lines and comparisions with different bands...but its gonna be a matter of taste to define whether or not you like a band :)

people refer to the beatles as the greatest band of all time and they have the highest sold album of all time. micheal jackson is known as the pop king and he has the second highest selling album of all time. Now me i think both of them are sh!t and i wouldn't listen to either of them, but they're still greats.
Now hogster just hates these bands (limpbizkit, linkin park) because they're popular. Well limp was popular. They now are known as the most hated band of all time. They had a great premiere album and 2 smashing multiplatinum following albums. They were refered to as the greatest rock band of the new era and now they are hated simply because they have been quiet for 3 years. Thats hypocritcal and these types of bands should be appreciated and respected for the hard work that they've done. It wasn't even fred's fault, it was wes's and now he and the bands are the ones that are hated for it. You've got to give them respect for the shit that they've been to and just for the fans. limpbizkit also is a supporter of file sharing and was a supporter of napster. they deserve respect and the album of limpbizkit that somes out sept. 23..... i'm gonna buy it and it will be the first album i've bought since papa roach's first album which was like 3 or 4 years ago. they deserve it.
Linkin park also deserves respect. i think at the moment thier the greatest rock band today. i mean rock as in (nu-metal, metal, hardcore, rock) all that crap. lp beats every rock sound out there today. and they're proving it by thier sales. evanescence a close second.

I really Like Butterfly Effect i think they are awesome.
I think Linkin Park has changed alot since their last CD. But over those years my music taste changed alot to so i wasnt into their new stuff cause of the different styles i like i think that has a lot to do with it.
