First 3 seasons dragged on next few after that were ok but now I think it's story is getting better. Still my favorite tv show and can't wait for the new season to start.

Wow eight seasons already.
Never been a big fan of the show since it's a little too soap operatic for my tastes but I watched it sporadically over the years.
I'll probably check it out to see what direction the show takes with the supposed departure of some regulars.

Lol, I used to be a huge fan and am still a nice fan of it.
Like the plot, the whole hero-bad guy thing.

Hey lostdemon how's it going.

Part of my problem with Smallville ,and it's inherent in any show dealing with young people, is that the actors age and you can't simply ignore it.

The initial charm of the show was that we were at the beginning of the myth.Clark/Superman was young and not yet aware of what he was capable of. Seven seasons later and he still hasn't progressed very far from that.
Enough with the foreplay already give him a GD cape and see if he can fly.

I love origin stories that's what was so appealing about the original Spiderman movie but after that you have to move forward and I feel that the producers of Smallville have to a large degree failed to do that.
They might give the character's jobs or have them marry but nothing internally about them changes so they fail to hold my interest.

If you love it though lostdemon more power to you.It's my loss that I don't.

Smallville babes rule though.Put them in skimpy outfits and I'm there every week.:naughty:

Few days ago i had finished all seasons of 24, prison break, lost, grey's anatomy, heroes so i had nothing to watch then i found smallville and started watching, completed season 1 and few episodes of season 2. I liked it very much. Great characters, acting and plot. I am going to download all season.
