Use
DVD to DivX Converter man.Imho it's the best software for that purposes.

There is a program known as "ConvertXtoDVD".

I highly recommend that.

I'v only ever used VSO 'S ConvertX but is that a complement or just ignorance ? Lately their worse than Nero ever was with the updates and fixes , it becomes a bore to keep up .

Very easy program to find keys or cracks and super fast on a Dual Quad system not so great on a early P4 tho . I'm using version 3.1.3.36 and was quite happy with ver. 2 .

Okay, convertXtoDVD whilst being a very good program, does not convert DVD's into divx/xvid format.

To convert dvd's to xvid, or divx, whichever you prefer, I personally use auto gordian knot. as far as quality is concerned, that depends on your encoder, the free ones bundled in with agk or great, but i prefer to use cinema craft encoder.
