Haven't had a blood orange for like ages.
I used to love them to the max. I think it was as simple as preferring the colour red to orange.

I love that blood orange juice compared to the normal stuff.
It's probably a sub-conscious thing because it costs more.

Me too, I'm not sure why either. I'm having some right now, in fact.

Blood, Sweat and Tear oranges are just wrong, but they keep the groove.

Indeed.
And right as I was making this thread 'cos I have a date later this week and was considering stuffing an orange up her bum when she least expects it, to show I'm a spontaneous kind of guy, at that.
I've read that the red pigment in blood oranges prevent cancer, btw.

Same is true for green tomatoes, apparentment.
You can get green tomato ketchup now. Haven't tried it but I might.
We had yellow tomato ketchup here. It didn't catch on. I think it just didn't look appealing.
I like green tomatoes, btw. Especially the small dark green ones.

blood oranges are better cuz that's the way god made them. If you have a prob with that, take it up with god.
Pfft. When God gives you lemons, YOU FIND A NEW GOD.
I reckon the same ought to go for oranges.
