Regarding HitnRun

Hi Fellow members, mods and so forth
As you know, hit n runs are not allowed on the torrent sites mostly. However, i was wondering whether there are exceptions to this rule mainly the programs. Some of the programs i download doesnt work even if they are seeded by 56 people. If it doesnt work, shall i inform mods or those who are in charge about deleting the file itself? or shall i continue seeding it? What is the right thing to do for the tracker? For it is obvious, if it doesnt work, why seed?

When you downloaded the file, were there complaints or comments about it not working?
Was it a serial? A keygen? A lot of times serials get blacklisted pretty fast.

Just because it did not work for you, doesn't mean it didn't work for other people.

But if you're sure its bad, I would leave a comment about it.

Or if you download a movie or tv show and then instantly a repack or proper comes out and you have to download the new one as well... I feel in that situation it is fine to hnr on the first torrent.

Nope there is nothing like that... Only it is said to be infected by the trojan but i checked it out with nod32. Nothing like that, also 52 person is seeding it and there are lost of thanks comments.

At Slimdog, but even after i give a comment about the torrent there, i am still risking to be get banned and go to irc process wait and so forth, i dont wanna deal with such procedures. All i wanna learn whether i need to inform the mods before i delete the file itself because it is not working, if so, pls let me know but thanks for your comment gotta leave a comment there

I've had this happen before. I just left a comment saying it didn't work and deleted it.
I had no issues. But it probably depends on how well its seeded and who the moderators/admins are.

Ok from BCG point of view, now we dont have apps, but we do have a report torrent function, so if soemthing doesnt work, use that. as well as read the comments just to see if you have missed something or others are saying the same thing.

Again i can only spek for BCG, but if a release gets Nuked, this is what happens.

Everyone that is still on that torrent, at the time its nuked, and they have under a 1 ratio on that torrent, they will get their download removed, so you will only be credited with what you uploaded on it.

Games do not get Nuked that often, but it happens, so if you are on a torrent that gets nuked, then make sure you stay on it if you have a 1 ratio or under.

How other sites do it i have no idea though.
