I have a film i bought on DVD (Gone In Sixty Seconds) i have had it for some time now and decided to watch it on my PC but when i try to play it in Windows Media Player i get this error.

'Windows media player cannot play this DVD because a problem occured with digital copyright protection'

the strange thing is though, it works perfectly on my laptop. can anyone tell me what the problem is?? :(

P.S. MODS i dunno if this should be in the moveworld or software place

Try a different player like PowerDVD, WinDVD, MediaPlayerClassic, ZoomPlayer, BS, etc.

PowerDVD installs its own drivers. I had the same problems you had until I installed PowerDVD.
